The participle (present -end for active, or past for passive/result) sits between article and head noun, with all its complements stacked in front of it:

Common mistakes: Long pre-posed blocks force the reader to hold the head noun in suspense and can become opaque if overloaded - keep them readable. Ensure the participle agrees in gender, number and case with the head noun (die gefeierte Handschrift), and pick the right participle: present for active/ongoing, past for passive/completed.
