Definite article 'die' (the, plural, accusative)

Plural 'die' does not change in the accusative. All plural nouns - no matter their gender in the singular - use die, and that die stays the same in the accusative.

Use die for plural nouns as the direct object:

• Ich kaufe die Äpfel. - I am buying the apples.
• Ich sehe die Kinder. - I see the children.
• Ich brauche die Bücher. - I need the books.

Compare the two cases - the article is unchanged:
