Glow-down

Origin
Anglicism from social-media culture and the counterpart to 'glow-up' (a visible improvement in appearance). 'Glow-down' describes a person coming across over time as less attractive or successful than before. A newer reading also takes 'glow-down' positively, as a deliberate turning away from prevailing beauty norms.
