ehrenlos

dishonorable; in slang a respectless/low-down act (also ironic intensifier)

Origin

A regular German ('without honor'). In youth slang shaped by hip-hop and net culture it labels disrespectful, disloyal behavior - such as breaking your word or betraying friends - and is sometimes used as an ironic intensifier. It is the counterpart to 'Ehrenmann/Ehrenfrau' (Jugendwort 2018) and belongs to a whole word family ('Ehrenbruder', 'Ehrenmove') that entered youth and gaming slang via rap lyrics (e.g. Money Boy, K.I.Z).
