Asche

Literally 'ash'; colloquially the word means money and, like 'Kohle' (coal), belongs to the set of combustion metaphors for money. Wiktionary lists 'Moneten' and 'Zaster' as related words. It is especially common in rap and everyday speech, e.g. 'Wie viel Asche hast du dabei?' (How much cash have you got on you?).
